Introducing the new Rhino Horizontal Band Resaw with Auto Feed and Return Conveyor Table, a powerful resaw suitable for all your timber cutting needs. This resaw is suitable for large scale production in the toughest of conditions. The machine features a powerful saw motor along side the high quality feed system, which allows the machine to cut through even the hardest of woods. A really tough machine as attested by our satisfied customers.
The Rhino Resaw can cut timber cants of up to 450mm wide and cant heights of up to 300mm. All models are equipped with powerful 11kw electric motors.
Some additional noteworthy features include the high-quality auto feed system, which allows timber to be fed at fast speeds of up to 27 meters per minute, thereby providing large scale production capacity and the ability to adjust the feed speed according to the type of timber being cut. The machine also features a return roller table which allows the machine operators to easily and comfortably move the timber cants back to the in feed side of the machine – allowing for a continuous and smooth production flow.
Some of the finer details and design advantages include the body construction which consists of thick 5mm steel throughout, while the machine legs consist of extra thick 8mm steel. All parts are high quality powder coated which means better protection for the machine from the environment. The rise and fall system on the saw head features double stainless-steel chains on both sides of saw head which provides extra durability and precision.
The electric saw motor is of top of the range European quality to ensure that the machine operates at international standard. All steel, bearings, blade guides and parts used in the construction are of the toughest around. At Rhino we believe that quality parts are crucial to achieving a quality machine.

Description
All major steel components feature a powder coated , galvanized and have a stainless steel finish ensuring your mill will stand up to nature’s elements. We recommend covering your sawmill when not in use, but if you forget it’s good to know that it will endure nature.
Cutting
The Rhino Resaw can cut timber cants of up to 450mm wide and cant heights of up to 300mm. The minimum cant width is 50mm and the minimum height is 10mm.
Power
The Rhino Resaw is powered by a 11kw electric motor.
Blades
The Rhino Resaw utilizes 32/35mm x 3670mm x 22mm double hardened blades which are available through Rhino Band Sawmills. Blade kerf is kept to a minimum at just 2mm to maximize the most amount of lumber per log.
Bearings
All Rhino sawmill models have been equipped with extra high quality, extra long lasting bearings. Thereby ensuring that you get more life out of your sawmill from the get-go. We don’t cut corners and neither should you.
Warranty
The sawmill is covered with a 2 year warranty against manufacturer’s defect that excludes wearing parts (belts, blades & bearings etc.).
The motor is covered by a 3 year commercial warranty which is honoured by the dealer.
Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy saw blades?
We stock and sell a wide range of high quality band saw blades for a variety of wood types and applications. Speak to our service team and they will advise.
Where can I buy spares?
All spares and consumables can be purchased conveniently via our website to be delivered by courier to your door. Alternatively, due to the benefit of Rhino sawmills using standardized parts, in most cases you will be able to buy bearings, bolts, lubricants and other consumables over the counter from your local spares shop.
What consumables do the Rhino sawmills use?
The most common parts and consumables needed are band wheel bearings, blade guide rollers, band wheel belts, drive belts and service kits for the Kohler gas engines which includes air filters, main air filters, oil filters and oil, fuel filters and spark plugs. All these parts are readily available.
Can machine training be provided?
Of course, we regularly provide technical training to our customers and their machine operators across Africa. Training can be provided on premises or in the field.
Is servicing available in my country?
Yes, we specialize in providing technical sawmill services across Sub Saharan Africa. We have a network of agents in your country which are always supported by our own team of technical experts.
